NBC Today Show Update!

Thank you to Facebook Fairytales, Emily Liebert and The Today Show for the piece that aired this morning at 9:50am. See Us on The Today Show. We were part of 2 stories that were highlighted from the book Facebook Fairytales. We especially appreciate that Al Roker and Sara Haines mention that we are looking for a sibling for Noah. The local NBC spot also appeared on Israeli Local News! (start watching from 14 min 20 seconds)
They were also kind enough to add our story to the NBC Today Moms Blog.

Thank you for all of you supportive comments and well wishes.

Hello. My gf sent me your story this morning and I am beyond touched by it. My husband and I are just in the beginning stages of the adoption process and are very excited and nervous at the same time.

Your story and strength inspire me!

Thank you so much for sharing your story. So many people don't know how difficult the struggle with infertility can be and how challenging the adoption process is. Thank you for making it something to talk about and best wishes for health, wealth and happiness no matter how big your family becomes!

Hi, saw your article on TodayMoms, awesome story. You said you are looking for a sibling for Noah. A friend of mine operates a non-profit ministry for women with unplanned pregnancies. I do believe she also does adoptions. If anything she has LOTS of contacts all over the United States and abroad. The organization is called Breath of Life Maternity Ministries. The website is: http://www.breathoflifesite.org/members/bol I hope this helps. Congratulations on Noah!

always tell your child how special he is starting w/how he came to be w/you both. i am an adopted kid, and my parents always made me feel like i was, a special gift, because they were able to adopt me. i always knew i was adopted, and it was never weird. i WAS special!! and they were too!! they promised to love a complete stranger, and they've never stopped. congratulations!!

I was very happy to here your story. I was a teenage mother who was thrown out by my parents and consequently was left with no choice but to give my baby boy up for adoption. This was 25 years ago and I pray everyday that he went to parents who appreciated him as much as you do little Noah. Please treasure him as the gift he that he is,for I know how painful it is to give such a gift. Congratulations.

Thanks for sharing. My husband and I have adopted privately twice and it doesn't have to be a long and expensive process. We treasure both our children, knowing they are gifts from God. I also happen to be an adoption attorney so I get to help people form families too. I love all the inspirational stories I get to hear and be a part of. Congrats! My kids know that even though they didn't grow in my tummy, they grew in my heart!

What a great adoption story! Facebook was not part of my adoption story, but a friend at work. I too became a parent in 3 weeks. I did a single parent adoption and she is so amazing. Her birth mother gave us such a wonderful gift of love and joy. Many blessings to you and your family. My daughter is 2 and a bundle of joy beyond my imagination.

A friend of mine shared your story with me. We are looking to do private adoption as well, and just a couple weeks ago put a message on facebook. You have motivated me to put out more information, and have my friends post on their pages as well. Facebook is a great way to network, and I am so happy it worked for you. Thank you for sharing your story with others and God Bless!

I have 2 adopted children that are now grown. I have always felt like they were my children. My children feel that us being honest with them about their being adopted was the best. My daughter says she remembers me telling her as a little girls that if there were a million little girls standing in front of me that I would choose her everytime. She loved that. My children are my life and are so entangled in my heart. The gift just keeps right on giving because now I have 5 wonderful grandsons.
I know you will be blessed.

I am thrilled by your story...my husband and i lost our beautiful baby boy at 16 weeks due to what doctors call a "fluke" - preterm labor. (P.R.O.M.) We had gone through IVF and were beyond devastated. I agree that no one should ever have to lose a child like that and hate that you all went through all that suffering. What a beautiful "continuation" - as it hasn't ended - to your story! Good luck with a sibling!

Beautiful story! My husband & I have experienced the infertility struggle but fortunately God brought us an amazing little girl. She was 4 yrs. when she came into our lives. We currently only have guardianship but hope to soon complete the adoption process. Please do not overlook older children. My good friends had adopted older children and advised against adopting a child over 3 yrs. old. In fact her husband is a psychologist. But against their advise when began the process. Only time will tell but its been 2 yrs now and we are so glad we followed our hearts. All the best in your search.
